The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), through its offices in P6 Delhi and RO Mumbai, has issued a tender for the rehabilitation and upgradation of key sections of National Highway 548B in Maharashtra. The proposed work includes the Injegaon to Pathari stretch, Borgavhan to Selu segment, and the Digras Phata to Deogaon Phata section. These improvements aim to upgrade the existing roads to a 2-lane/4-lane with paved shoulder (2-4 LPS) configuration under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) mode.
This initiative is part of MoRTH’s continued commitment to enhancing national highway infrastructure across the country. By focusing on critical routes in Maharashtra, the ministry intends to boost regional connectivity and facilitate smoother traffic flow for both passenger and freight transport.
The financial bid for the tender was officially opened on February 3, 2025, by MoRTH. Among the contenders, R B Ghodke Infrastructure Private Limited submitted the lowest bid, securing the top spot in the evaluation process.
The estimated project cost stands at approximately Rs. 371.33 crore (3713344800). This investment underscores the government’s push for timely infrastructure development, ensuring safer and more efficient roadways for economic and social mobility in the region.
