The Department of Housing and Urban Development, through GMADA (Greater Mohali Area Development Authority), Division C-1, invited a tender for the construction of internal roads and commercial pockets in Sector-101, S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali), Punjab. The project includes civil, public health and electrical works as part of the planned development of the sector.
The scope of work includes construction and development of internal roads, commercial pocket infrastructure, drainage and public health facilities, electrical works, utility infrastructure, and other allied development works. The project is aimed at strengthening the area’s urban infrastructure and creating better connectivity and supporting facilities for residents and commercial establishments.
According to the tender details, the financial bid was opened on 19 June 2026 by GMADA, Division C-1. Following evaluation of the bids submitted by participating contractors, Punia Construction Co. emerged as the bidder quoting the minimum value for execution of the project.
The total project value stands at Rs. 2,437,963,131, making this a major urban infrastructure investment in S.A.S. Nagar. Once completed, the project is expected to improve internal connectivity, provide essential utility infrastructure, and support the planned residential and commercial development of Sector-101.
