The Mira Bhaindar Municipal Corporation (MBMC) has invited a tender for the proposed construction of a cable-stayed walkway aimed at enhancing connectivity and tourism in the region. The walkway will link Ghodbunder Khadi Kinara with the historic Ghodbunder Fort, offering a unique pedestrian route that blends infrastructure development with heritage preservation. This project falls under the Basic Facility Development Fund and represents a significant step in urban beautification and accessibility.
Designed as a modern architectural feature, the cable-stayed walkway is expected to become a landmark attraction in the MBMC area. Among the contenders, N A CONSTRUCTION PVT. LTD. emerged as the lowest bidder. The total estimated cost of the project is approximately ₹56.54 crore(565441740), underscoring the scale and vision of this urban development initiative.
