The Public Works Department (PWD) – Chief Engineer & Additional Secretary (CE & AS), along with ACE Ajmer, SE Kekri, and EE Kekri, has invited a tender for the Datob–Bhadu Ka Khera–Kuhada–Kanoj–Lasadiya–Ekalsigha–Kekri Major District Road. This MDR corridor plays a crucial role in connecting rural habitations with Kekri town and surrounding areas, supporting daily commuting and the movement of agricultural and commercial goods.

The financial bid for the tender was opened on 1st October 2025. The minimum quoted bid was submitted by Mehar Construction Company, with the total project value amounting to ₹194,560,421.4, indicating a notable public investment aimed at improving road infrastructure in the Kekri region.
