The PWD – CE & AS, ACE Ajmer, SE Bhilwara, and EE-I Bhilwara invited a tender for the Widening and Strengthening of the road connecting NH-52 (Deva Khera) to NH-148D (Dhor), covering Km 0/0 to Km 22/0 on MDR-419. This corridor is an important regional link, ensuring smoother movement between two national highways while supporting local mobility, agricultural transport, and economic activities in adjoining rural areas. With rising vehicular load and increased inter-district connectivity needs, upgrading this 22-km stretch has become essential for improving travel efficiency and long-term road sustainability.
The project aims to enhance road durability, provide safer driving conditions, and reduce travel time between Deva Khera and Dhor. Strengthening MDR-419 is expected to significantly benefit commuters, transporters, and nearby villages by ensuring better access to markets, public facilities, and major urban centres. The improved route will also help reduce traffic pressure on alternative roads that currently bear additional load due to deteriorated pavement conditions.
The financial bid for the project was opened on 12th September 2025 by the Ajmer Zone authorities. M/s Tirupati Enterprises emerged as the lowest bidder, securing the work for this major regional development initiative. The total project value stands at ₹312,770,690.6, reflecting the importance of this highway-to-highway connectivity improvement.
