M/s Siddhartha Construction Got A Project:Construction of two lane road from Badam Coal Block to BES Railway Siding

The State Highway Authority of Jharkhand (SHAJ) has floated a significant infrastructure tender for the construction of a two-lane road, aimed at enhancing coal transport connectivity in Hazaribagh district. This project holds strategic importance for industrial logistics in the region.
The proposed road will stretch from Badam Coal Block to BES Railway Siding, covering a total length of 9.700 kilometers. It falls under Barkagaon Block in Hazaribagh district and will be executed on a deposit basis, indicating its funding from user agencies, possibly for coal transportation facilitation.
The financial bid process for the tender was officially opened on 25th June 2025, following technical scrutiny and eligibility verification. Multiple bidders expressed interest in the project due to its logistical and commercial relevance.
Among the participating contractors, M/s Siddhartha Construction emerged as the lowest bidder, offering the most competitive rate for executing the proposed construction. Their proposal met the technical and financial requirements laid down by the authority.
The estimated value of this critical road project stands at Rs. 51,64,79,661.7, indicating a substantial investment in Jharkhand’s transport infrastructure, especially to boost industrial supply chain efficiency.
