PWD – CE and AS has invited a tender for the Construction of the Khinwsar Bypass (SH-87C to NH-62 to SH-87 to NH-62) and the development of the Padamsar Choraha to Rooprajat Choraha route via Karamsi Choraha, including three-side connectivity for the Bus Stand. This project is designed to upgrade regional connectivity in the Khinwsar area by creating smoother linkages between key state and national highways, reducing congestion, and improving travel efficiency for local and long-distance traffic.
The proposed bypass will divert heavy vehicles and through-traffic away from internal town roads, enhancing safety and reducing travel delays. Along with this, strengthening the Padamsar–Rooprajat corridor will ensure uninterrupted movement across multiple localities while supporting commercial activities, daily commuting, and public transport access. The inclusion of bus stand connectivity on three sides further enhances the project’s utility for passengers and transport operators.
The financial bid opening is scheduled for 24th September 2025, under the supervision of PWD – CE and AS. This project attracted multiple bidders due to its importance in improving the transport network in the region and easing pressure on existing routes, especially along SH-87 and NH-62.
Among all participants, M/s Devilal Choudhary emerged as the lowest bidder, quoting the minimum value for successful execution of the project. The total sanctioned value of the work stands at ₹35,54,12,050.5, marking a significant investment toward strengthening regional mobility and infrastructure development.
