M/s D.C. Gurbaxani Got A Project: STRENGTHENING OF ROAD CHANDRAPUR LOHARA GHANTACHOUKI

The Public Works Region – Nagpur, under the Public Works Circle – Gadchiroli and Public Works Division No. 2, Gadchiroli, invited a tender for the strengthening of the Chandrapur–Lohara–Ghantachouki–Mul–Haranghat–Chamorshi–Ghot–Mulchera–Aheri–Vyankatapur–Bejurpalli to MSH-9 Road (S.H. 370) from Km 34/670 to Km 49/500 in Taluka Chamorshi, District Gadchiroli, including additional strengthening works across the district.
This major infrastructure project focuses on improving the durability and riding quality of a crucial state highway that connects several key towns and rural settlements in eastern Maharashtra. The works include laying new bituminous layers, upgrading shoulders, and improving drainage and safety measures. Once completed, this strengthened corridor will ensure seamless regional connectivity, enhance road safety, and promote trade, tourism, and agricultural transport in Gadchiroli—a region of growing developmental importance.
The financial bid for the project was opened on 19th September 2025 by the Public Works Region – Nagpur, through the Public Works Circle – Gadchiroli and Public Works Division No. 2, Gadchiroli. The lowest bidder was M/s D.C. Gurbaxani. The total project value is ₹1,715,232,200 (₹171.52 crore).
