The Public Works Region – Nagpur, under the Public Works Circle – Gadchiroli and Public Works Division No. 1, Gadchiroli, invited a tender for the strengthening of Parwa–Kelapur–Wani–Warora–Nagbhid–Bramhapuri–Wadsa–Kurkheda–Korchi to State Border Road (SH-314) from Km 132/200 to Km 144/400 in Taluka Korchi, District Gadchiroli. This vital infrastructure project aims to enhance the structural stability and riding quality of a key state highway that connects multiple rural and semi-urban regions, thereby improving connectivity and economic integration in the Gadchiroli district.
The strengthening work includes laying new bituminous layers, improving road geometry, and enhancing drainage systems to ensure road durability and safety during all seasons. Once completed, this section will significantly reduce travel time, facilitate smoother transportation of goods and passengers, and promote socio-economic development in this tribal and remote region of Maharashtra.
The financial bid for the project was opened on 16th September 2025 by the Public Works Region, Nagpur, through the Public Works Circle, Gadchiroli, and Public Works Division No. 1, Gadchiroli. The lowest bidder was M/s D.C. Gurbaxani. The total project value is ₹81,60,48,965 (₹81.60 crore).
