The Public Works Department (PWD) – CE AND AS, through its regional offices ACE – Jodhpur, SE – Barmer, and EE – Balotra, has invited a crucial infrastructure tender aimed at enhancing rural road connectivity in Rajasthan. The project involves widening and strengthening works on the Pali–Jetpura–Gelawas–Barwa–Mazal–Karmawas Road between km 49/0 to 68/0.
This stretch of road is a vital link connecting several remote villages and semi-urban settlements. Its current condition requires substantial upgradation to improve travel safety, reduce vehicle wear, and ensure year-round accessibility. The total estimated value of the project stands at ₹15,30,40,002. Once executed, the project will significantly boost infrastructure resilience and economic activity in the Barmer district, while aligning with the state’s commitment to rural development.
