M.P. Agarwalla Got A Project: PBMC of NH-39 (New NH-129) from Km 30 to Km 46 (L 16 Km)

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), through the NER and SARDP-NE division, RO Guwahati and National Highway Assam PWD-Guwahati, invited a tender for Performance-Based Maintenance Contract (PBMC) of NH-39 (New NH-129) in Assam under PWD, Golaghat NH Division.
The project covers three road stretches: Km 30 to Km 46 (16 km), Km 54 to Km 96 (42 km) and Km 103 to Km 106 (3 km), giving a total length of 61 km. The contract is for the 2025-26 period with a maintenance duration of five years under Job No. PBMC/129/AS/2025-26/290.
The PBMC focuses on maintaining the highway in accordance with specified performance standards. The work includes routine and periodic maintenance, pavement and road-surface upkeep, drainage maintenance, road safety measures and other necessary activities to ensure the continued serviceability of the highway.
According to the tender details, the financial bid was opened on 19 June 2026. M.P. Agarwalla quoted the minimum value for execution of the project.
The total project value stands at Rs. 452,307,767.5. The five-year maintenance contract is intended to ensure continued upkeep and performance of the identified NH-39/NH-129 sections in Golaghat district, Assam.
