The Public Works Department (PWD) – CE AND AS, in collaboration with ACE Bharatpur, SE Bharatpur, and EE Kumher, has invited a tender for a crucial road infrastructure project in the Bharatpur district. The project involves widening and strengthening of the existing road from Bas Burja to Deeg (Panhori) via Govindgarh, Padalwas, Kakda, and Panhori.
This road stretch is a vital link for commuters and transporters in the region, connecting several villages and local economic centers. Its upgrade is expected to enhance mobility, safety, and travel efficiency, particularly for rural and semi-urban commuters.
The financial bid opening took place on 19th June 2025, with participation from several construction firms. The tender was floated by the concerned regional PWD offices, demonstrating the state’s continued investment in regional connectivity and infrastructure growth.
Following bid evaluation, Kamal Builders emerged as the lowest bidder for this project. Their proposal was found to be technically sound and financially competitive, with a quoted amount of ₹39,99,42,755.5.
This project is part of Rajasthan’s broader push to strengthen its rural road network and ensure better access to essential services, markets, and nearby towns.
