J P Enterprises Got A Project:Construction of Concrete Roads including 10 years maintenance in PMR region

The Pune Metropolitan Regional Development Authority (PMRDA), Pune, has invited a tender for the construction of concrete roads in the Pune Metropolitan Region (PMR), specifically covering Taluka Haveli in District Pune. The project also includes a 10-year maintenance obligation, ensuring long-term durability, performance, and service quality of the road infrastructure within this fast-growing metropolitan area.
The proposed work aims to strengthen internal road connectivity, improve riding comfort, and reduce frequent repair requirements associated with conventional road surfaces. Concrete roads are being prioritised due to their longer lifespan and lower lifecycle maintenance costs. This initiative will support increasing traffic volumes resulting from rapid urbanisation, residential expansion, and commercial development in Haveli taluka.
The financial bid for the tender opened on 27th October 2025, under the authority of PMRDA, Pune. Owing to the combined scope of construction and extended maintenance responsibility, the tender attracted participation from experienced infrastructure contractors. After evaluation of the financial bids, J P Enterprises emerged as the lowest bidder for the project.
The total project value is Rs. 482,072,253.9, representing a significant investment in sustainable and resilient urban road infrastructure. Once completed, the concrete road network will enhance commuter safety, improve traffic flow, and contribute to the long-term planned development of the Pune Metropolitan Region.
