The Public Works Department (PWD) – Roads and Bridges, through the Chief Engineer, Ujjain Zone, Ujjain, invited a tender for the construction of the Tanodiya to Madkota Road. The project covers a total stretch of 21.10 km and also includes electrification work, ensuring not only improved road infrastructure but also enhanced safety and utility along the route. The project falls under the jurisdiction of the Agar-Malwa Division in Madhya Pradesh.
This infrastructure initiative is aimed at strengthening rural and semi-urban connectivity in Agar-Malwa, a region that relies heavily on road transport for trade, agriculture, and daily mobility. The financial bid was opened on 14th August 2025 by the PWD under the Ujjain Zone. The evaluation process considered both technical compliance and cost competitiveness among the bidders.
The lowest bid was quoted by Heera Ram Godara, who emerged as the L1 bidder for this tender. His proposal was found to be the most cost-efficient while meeting the project requirements.
The total project value is estimated at ₹28,69,08,958.8, marking it as a major investment in Agar-Malwa’s infrastructure and development.
