The Public Works Department (PWD) – Roads and Bridges, through the Chief Engineer, Ujjain Zone, PWD, invited a tender for the construction of the Neemuch – Cheetakheda – Jeeran – Malhargarh two-lane road. The project involves the upgradation of a 36.65 km stretch, transforming it into a modern two-lane facility with improved structural capacity and durability.
The scope of work also includes electrification along the entire route, which is a vital addition for ensuring enhanced safety, better visibility, and reliable road usage during nighttime. The project is managed under the Neemuch Division, a key transport corridor in the Ujjain Zone.
The financial bid for this tender was opened on 14th August 2025, overseen by PWD authorities. After evaluation of bids on both technical and financial grounds, the most competitive proposal was identified.
The lowest bid was submitted by Heera Ram Godara, who emerged as the L1 bidder for this major road development project. His bid was determined to be cost-effective while meeting the required technical qualifications.
