The Road Construction Department (RCD), Jharkhand, under RCD EinC, RCD Chief Engineer Communication, RCD Road Circle Hazaribagh and RCD Road Division Giridih, invited a tender for the reconstruction of Badkitand–Tinpatli–Dokidih–Girnia More Road. The project covers a total length of 11.065 km, including land acquisition work, under Road Division Giridih for the year 2025–26.
The scope of work includes reconstruction and strengthening of the existing road, improvement of the road surface, land acquisition-related activities, drainage and allied civil works, and other necessary infrastructure improvements. The project is aimed at improving connectivity, providing smoother and safer transportation, and strengthening road infrastructure in Giridih district.
As per the tender details, the financial bid was opened on 10 June 2026 by the RCD authorities. Following evaluation of the bids submitted by participating contractors, Hari Nandan Choudhary emerged as the bidder quoting the minimum value for execution of the project.
The total project value stands at Rs. 271,143,526.8, representing a significant investment in road infrastructure development. Once completed, the reconstructed road is expected to improve regional connectivity, reduce travel difficulties, and support economic activities in the surrounding areas of Giridih district.
