The Public Works Department (PWD) – CE and AS, in collaboration with ACE-Tonk, SE-Tonk, and EE-Malpura, has issued a tender for the widening and strengthening of a significant stretch of MDR-308. The proposed development will cover the route from Todaraisingh SH-116 to the District Border of Ajmer, spanning several key villages and towns including Kheduliya, Bhanwata, Pathraj Kalan, Mandolai, Rajmahal, Gagardoo, and Padasoli.
This roadwork aims to enhance regional connectivity by upgrading deteriorating sections between Km 50/780 to 57/710 and 59/500 to 78/0. The improved infrastructure is expected to ease transportation, boost rural trade, and provide safer, more efficient access for residents and commuters along the corridor. The upgraded route will also serve as a vital link to nearby districts and economic hubs.
The financial bid for this tender was officially opened on 31st March 2025, supervised by the respective PWD authorities. The project saw participation from several reputed infrastructure firms.
Among the bidders, Hardayal Constructions and Projects LLP quoted the lowest bid, positioning itself as the potential executor of this major project. The estimated project cost stands at approximately ₹43.10 crore (₹431,052,299.7), indicating its scale and regional impact.
