The Public Works Department (PWD – CE and AS), through the ACE Jodhpur, SE Sirohi, and EE Abu Road, has invited a tender for the construction of road works along with bridge components (CD works). The project involves developing multiple road links to enhance rural and inter-district connectivity in the region.
The scope includes the construction of roads with bridges covering routes such as Oon to Bhainswara, Alawa C to Paota, Bhagli Purohitan to Ahore, Guda Balotan to Thanwla, Agwari to Kuada, Cheeparwada to Ahore, Chandna to Siyana, and Harjee to Sirohi up to the district border. These stretches are critical for linking villages with towns, markets, and essential services.
The project also includes four cross-drainage (CD) works, ensuring durability and resilience against waterlogging and seasonal monsoon challenges. This will strengthen long-term road sustainability and improve all-weather access for commuters.
The tender financial bid opened on 19th August 2025, with H V Constructions emerging as the lowest bidder for this large-scale connectivity project.
The total project value stands at ₹65,29,90,466.9, making it a major infrastructure investment in the Sirohi district under the Jodhpur Zone.
