The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), through its NER and SARDP-NE division, RO Guwahati, and in coordination with the National Highway ASSAM PWD-Guwahati, has invited a tender for a key infrastructure project in the state of Assam. The project involves the construction of a 2-lane highway with paved shoulders built to NH standards under EPC mode, covering NH-715K across the districts of Majuli and Jorhat.
The work includes construction from km 0.080 to km 11.690 (11.610 km) in Majuli, and from km 19.715 to km 27.484 (7.769 km) in Jorhat. Additionally, a 1.10 km long flyover along with its approaches and service roads on NH-715 is included in the scope. The total project length is approximately 20.479 km and falls under Job No. 715K/AS/2023-24/256.
The financial bid for the project was opened on February 10, 2025. After evaluation, BRN Infrastructures Private Limited was identified as the lowest bidder for this significant development initiative.
The total estimated value of the project is around ₹194.45 crore(1944558764), marking another step forward in improving transport connectivity in Assam under the SARDP-NE program.
