The Ujjain Development Authority (UDA) under the Directorate of Town and Country Planning invited a tender for the widening of the Ankapaat Chouraha–Khakchouk Chouraha to Mangalnath Marg in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. The project is intended to improve the capacity and efficiency of this important road corridor and strengthen connectivity within the city.
The scope of work includes widening of the existing roadway, pavement strengthening, improvement of drainage facilities, road safety measures, junction improvements, and other allied civil works. The project is expected to improve traffic movement, reduce congestion, and provide better connectivity towards the Mangalnath area.
According to the tender details, the financial bid was opened on 17 June 2026 by the Ujjain Development Authority. Following evaluation of the bids, Atul Kurariya Private Limited emerged as the bidder quoting the minimum value for execution of the project.
The total project value stands at Rs. 340,801,135.2, representing a significant investment in Ujjain’s urban road infrastructure. Once completed, the widened road is expected to improve traffic flow and accessibility while supporting the city’s ongoing urban development.
