The Public Works Department Madhya Pradesh under the offices of the Gwalior CE North Zone PWD and Bhind EE Zone PWD invited a tender for the Konhar Baraso Road Construction Mehgaon. The project involves the construction of Konhar–Baraso Road under Sub Division Mehgaon, covering a total length of 12.99 km, including associated works such as electric pole shifting.
The scope of work includes construction of a new roadway, pavement development, and allied infrastructure such as drainage systems and road safety features. The project also incorporates utility shifting work, particularly relocation of electric poles, to ensure smooth execution and long-term durability of the road infrastructure.
As per the tender details, the financial bid was opened on 16 March 2026 by the PWD authorities under the Gwalior North Zone. After evaluation of bids submitted by participating contractors, M S Arun Awasthi emerged as the bidder quoting the minimum value for execution of the project.
The total project value stands at Rs. 181,690,277.9, reflecting a targeted investment in road development. Upon completion, the project will enhance connectivity, improve transportation efficiency, and support regional development in the Mehgaon area of Bhind district.
