The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), through its P3 Delhi division, RO Patna, and NH Division-Samastipur, has invited a tender for the construction of a two-lane Road Over Bridge (ROB) in Bihar. The project is planned over Level Crossing No. 2, located between Muktapur and Kishanpur railway stations, on the Samastipur–Darbhanga Road (NH-322) in Samastipur district.
This initiative aims to eliminate an important railway level crossing, improving uninterrupted vehicular flow and enhancing road safety. The proposed ROB will be a key infrastructure development for the region, easing daily commute for thousands and reducing delays caused by frequent train crossings.
The financial bid for the project was officially opened on April 15, 2025. The bid evaluation was carried out by MoRTH officials from P3 Delhi, RO Patna, and NH Division-Samastipur, ensuring a transparent and competitive process. Several qualified contractors participated in the bidding round.
ADITYA ENTERPRISES submitted the lowest financial bid for this project, emerging as the most competitive bidder. The total estimated value of the project is ₹46,48,30,000.
