The Public Works Department (PWD) has floated a tender for Annual Repair (AR) and Maintenance Operation (MO) of various roads under PWD Division SWR-1 for the years 2025–26 and 2026–27. This initiative is part of the department’s ongoing commitment to improving road conditions across New Delhi.
The tender includes essential works such as providing a maintenance van, executing thermoplastic road markings, and carrying out kerb stone painting. These activities are aimed at enhancing road visibility, safety, and the overall lifespan of public road infrastructure in urban areas.
The specified work will be carried out across Sub Divisions I, II, and V within the jurisdiction of PWD SWR-1, New Delhi. Each component of the tender is designed to ensure that roads remain well-maintained and visually clear for commuters and pedestrians.
The financial bid for this project was opened on 24th April 2025. Several contractors submitted proposals, reflecting healthy competition and interest from infrastructure firms in maintaining Delhi’s urban roads.
After evaluation, A S INFRATECH emerged as the lowest bidder. The total project value is estimated at ₹8,50,76,089.30, signaling a significant investment in infrastructure upkeep for the capital city.
