A.K Builders Got A Project: CONSTRUCTION OF CONNECTING ROADS TO IMB FENCE

The Border Roads Organisation (BRO), through HQ CE(P) Udayak (Doom Dooma), invited a tender for the construction of connecting roads to the IMB fence along the Indo-Myanmar Border. The project covers a total length of 49 km, extending from BP-159 to BP-162 in Longding and Tirap districts of Arunachal Pradesh. The work will be executed on an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) mode basis.
The project involves construction of a road network providing connectivity to the IMB fence along the identified border stretch. The scope includes road construction, pavement works, drainage provisions, protection works, road safety measures and other allied infrastructure required for the development of the corridor.
According to the tender details, the financial bid was opened on 1 June 2026 by the Border Roads Organisation. Following evaluation of the bids, A.K Builders emerged as the bidder quoting the minimum value for execution of the project.
The total project value stands at Rs. 1,075,000,000. Once completed, the 49-km connecting road network is expected to improve accessibility and transportation connectivity along the specified Indo-Myanmar border section in Longding and Tirap districts.
