The Public Works Department (PWD), Uttar Pradesh, through the Chief Engineer Chitrakoot Dhaam (Banda) Zone, PWD Banda, invited a tender for the widening and strengthening of Tindwari–Bagiya–Piprahri–Amlor Road (ODR) in Banda district. The project covers the road stretch from Km 1 to Km 17/160, with a total length of approximately 16.16 km, and includes five years of maintenance.
The project focuses on improving the existing road infrastructure through widening and pavement strengthening works. The scope also includes necessary civil works, drainage improvements, road safety measures and allied works, followed by a five-year maintenance period to maintain the road in serviceable condition.
According to the tender details, the financial bid was opened on 6 June 2026 by the PWD authorities. Following evaluation of the bids, G S Coatings emerged as the bidder quoting the minimum value for execution of the project.
The total project value stands at Rs. 241,411,579.8. Once completed, the project is expected to improve riding quality, strengthen connectivity in the region and provide safer and more reliable transportation along the Tindwari–Bagiya–Piprahri–Amlor corridor.
