OMKAY INFRACON Got A Project: Construction of Raising of Approach Road R.D.0

The CE Water Resources Department, Gosikhurda Project, Nagpur, has initiated a vital infrastructure tender to enhance rural connectivity in flood-affected zones. Under the guidance of the Superintending Engineer, Gosekhurd Project Circle, and Executive Engineer, GRD, Nagpur, the department has invited bids for an ambitious project aimed at strengthening road access and bridge connectivity in the Kuhi Tahsil of Nagpur district.
The proposed work involves the construction and raising of an approach road from R.D. 0 to 1000 meters, and a bridge at Mauza Kujba leading to Amti Road, an area notably impacted by the Nagin River. In parallel, another approach road from R.D. 0 to 1100 meters and a bridge at Mauza Kujba over the Aam River are also part of the project scope. These initiatives aim to mitigate the issues of road submergence and transportation breakdown during monsoon seasons.
The financial bid opening for the tender was conducted on 4th June 2025 under the authority of the Gosikhurda Project Circle at Nagpur. Multiple reputed infrastructure companies participated, highlighting the project’s scale and regional significance.
OMKAY INFRACON emerged as the lowest bidder for the project. The estimated project value stands at ₹27,30,46,054.30, underscoring the government’s commitment to resilient infrastructure.
The project is expected to greatly improve year-round accessibility, benefiting commuters, farmers, and local transport systems in Kuhi and surrounding villages.
