PWD – CE AND AS, in coordination with ACE Jaipur II, SE Alwar, and TA-SE Alwar, invited a tender for the Widening and Strengthening of the Pehtal–Tapukara road via Khairthal, Bhageri Kala, Machroli, Daulatpur, Bibirani, Jodiya, Binoliya, Bichala, Hameeraka, Gotoli, Milakpur, and Turk. The project falls under MDR-318 and includes two major stretches: km 0/0 to 5/0 and km 46/0 to 62/0, planned under the CRIF scheme. This corridor serves as a vital link across several key settlements of the Alwar district.
The scope of work involves widening narrow sections, strengthening pavement layers, improving drainage structures, and enhancing overall road safety. Given the economic activity across these regions—especially Agriculture, small-scale industries, and inter-town transport—the improved road will significantly upgrade mobility and efficiency. The project also supports long-term regional development by reducing congestion and improving the durability of the MDR-318 route.
The financial bid for the project was opened on 18th September 2026 by PWD – CE AND AS, ACE Jaipur II, SE Alwar, and TA-SE Alwar. The evaluation followed standard departmental procedures ensuring transparency and healthy competition among participating contractors. The project attracted considerable interest due to its scale and regional importance.
Among all bidders, M/S Braham Prakash Modi submitted the lowest quoted value for execution. The total project cost has been estimated at Rs. 334,338,990.3, marking a substantial infrastructure investment aimed at boosting connectivity and ensuring smoother transportation across the MDR-318 stretch.
