The CE-PWD (B and R), through its Construction Circle–Bathinda under Provincial Division–Bathinda, has invited a tender for the upgradation (UG) of multiple important link roads in the region under package G-5. The project is aimed at strengthening rural connectivity and improving transportation infrastructure across key routes in and around Maur Mandi and adjoining areas.
The works included in this tender cover: PR-1 BSBK Road to Bhai Bakhtaur Yatri; BSBK Road to Tungwali including Phirni Raikhana; Maur Talwandi Road to Kamalu Swaitch via Sandoha; Rajgarh Kubbe to Behniwal up to MCL via Kotli Khurd; Approach Road Maur Mandi; and Maur Talwandi Road to Kamalu. These road upgrades are expected to enhance mobility for local residents, ease agricultural and commercial transport, and ensure safer travel conditions.
The financial bid for the project was officially opened on 09 January 2026 by the competent authority at Construction Circle–Bathinda. After evaluation of the bids received, Vishvas Construction Company emerged as the lowest bidder by quoting the minimum project value.
The total sanctioned cost of the project stands at ₹21 crore, reflecting a significant investment in strengthening and modernizing the road network in Bathinda district.
