The Uttar Pradesh State Bridge Corporation Limited (UPSBC), under the leadership of the Joint Managing Director (JMD), along with the General Manager/Chief Project Manager (GM/CPM), Lucknow, has invited a crucial infrastructure tender for constructing a two-lane Rail Over Bridge (ROB) in Barabanki district.
The proposed bridge will be built at Level Crossing No. 300-SPL on the Chowka Ghat–Budhwal Block Section, located between KM 713/16 and 713/18 on the Gonda–Lucknow route of the North Eastern Railway. This location sees substantial rail and road interaction, making the ROB a vital intervention to ensure uninterrupted and safer connectivity.
The construction will follow the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) mode, ensuring a streamlined approach from design to execution. Once completed, the bridge will significantly reduce congestion, improve safety, and enhance regional transport efficiency.
The financial bid opening took place on 27th July 2025, and saw competitive participation. The lowest bid was submitted by V.K. Gupta and Associates, showcasing their interest and capacity in executing such high-value infrastructure projects.
The total value quoted for the project is ₹263732501.8, highlighting the state’s ongoing commitment to upgrading railway-related infrastructure across key districts.
