The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), through its P3 Delhi Division, Regional Office Patna, and executed via S.P.E. WD ARA BRPNNLtd, has invited a tender for the construction of a major bridge project under the CRIF Scheme. The project involves the balanced work of a two-lane High-Level RCC Bridge with approaches, extending from chainage 0.000 km to 2.150 km, across the Sone River in the States of Bihar (via Panduka) and Jharkhand.
This infrastructure initiative is designed to strengthen inter-state connectivity by completing a vital bridge link that supports both passenger and freight movement. The High-Level RCC bridge construction, along with its approaches, is intended to withstand heavy vehicular loads while ensuring safety and durability under varying river conditions. The project’s completion is expected to significantly reduce travel time, improve accessibility to remote areas, and boost socio-economic growth in the adjoining regions of Bihar and Jharkhand.
The financial bid for the project was opened on 22nd August 2025. Among the participants, M/s V.K. Gupta and Associates submitted the lowest bid (L1), making them the preferred contractor for execution. The project has been sanctioned at a value of ₹1,364,700,000 (approximately ₹136.47 crore) under the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) mode.
