The Public Works Department (PWD) – CE and AS, through the ACE Ajmer, SE Bhilwara, and EE Shahpura, has invited a tender for the widening and strengthening of multiple stretches of MDR roads. The project covers critical connectivity routes from Pragpura to Kirarod, Malera Johad, Samota Ki Dhani to NH-48, along with Bhabaru (NH-48) to Jawanpura via Bagawas Chorasi, and further from NH-48 Reliance Petrol Pump to Tulsipura via Taliyara.
This multi-link road development is designed to improve regional road infrastructure and ensure smooth vehicular movement between rural settlements and NH-48. By widening and strengthening these stretches, the project will enhance durability, reduce travel time, and improve connectivity with the national highway network.
The project will include pavement upgrading, structural improvements, roadside safety features, and drainage enhancements. These works will align with modern standards to support increasing traffic volumes in the Bhilwara–Shahpura region.
The tender financial bid opened on 21st August 2025, and after evaluation, Shree Salasar Associates emerged as the lowest bidder for this infrastructure development project.
The estimated value of the project is ₹19,27,29,236.2, reflecting a significant investment to strengthen road links in Rajasthan.
