The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), through the Chief Engineer, Pune Zone, Superintending Engineer, Pune-2, and Civil Division, Pune, has invited a tender for Phase-I widening and upgradation of the service road (Mangrul Road) and Jackwell Road along the RWRM corridor at Talegaon Industrial Area. The project involves conversion of the existing roads into concrete pavement, aimed at supporting heavy industrial traffic.
Talegaon Industrial Area is one of the key manufacturing and logistics hubs in the Pune region. The upgradation of internal service roads is essential to improve load-bearing capacity, reduce maintenance frequency, and ensure smooth movement of goods and workforce. The concrete pavement will significantly enhance durability and operational efficiency within the industrial estate.
The financial bid for the tender opened on 20th October 2025, under the supervision of MIDC Pune authorities. The project attracted capable contractors experienced in industrial road infrastructure due to its strategic importance and technical scope. After evaluation of bids, Shree Ganesh Construction emerged as the lowest quoting bidder.
The total project value is Rs. 143,749,081.2, representing a focused investment in strengthening industrial infrastructure at Talegaon. Upon completion, the upgraded roads will improve internal circulation, reduce vehicle operating costs, and support long-term industrial growth in the region.
