The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), through its P3 Delhi office, has invited a key infrastructure tender aimed at strengthening road connectivity in Bihar. The project is being executed in association with the Regional Office (RO) Patna and the NH Division-Samastipur.
This tender specifically focuses on the development and widening of a vital road section on National Highway 527E (NH-527E). The targeted stretch runs from Km 0.00 at Hajma Chowk to Km 4.00 at Ramnagar within the Samastipur district.
The scope of work includes widening the road to two lanes with paved shoulders, ensuring smoother traffic flow and enhanced safety standards. This project is part of the 2024–25 road development plan under the NH Division-Samastipur.
The upgradation of this stretch is expected to significantly benefit local connectivity and reduce travel time between the key locations of Hajma Chowk and Ramnagar. It will also contribute to rural and semi-urban accessibility.
The financial bid for the project was officially opened on 19th June 2025. This phase helped finalize the most competitive and qualified bidder for the execution of the proposed works.
SATHI ELECTRIC CONSTRUCTION emerged as the lowest bidder. The total value of the project stands at ₹16,79,30,631.
