The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, through P4 Delhi – MoRTH, RO Gandhinagar – MoRTH, and NH Division Gandhidham, has invited a tender for a Performance-Based Maintenance Contract on NH-41 in the state of Gujarat. The project covers the Sabharai to Naliya section, spanning from Km 181/600 to Km 221/800, targeting improved maintenance quality and long-term road performance across this 40.2 km stretch.
This maintenance project aims to ensure higher service reliability by focusing on continuous monitoring, timely repairs, and compliance with national performance standards. The contract includes pavement strengthening, routine upkeep, drainage maintenance, signage improvement, and road safety enhancements. With NH-41 being a crucial link for regional connectivity and commercial transport, maintaining this stretch is essential for uninterrupted movement of goods and passengers.
The performance-based approach ensures contractors are responsible not only for repairs but also for maintaining the required level of road quality throughout the contract period. This model reduces long-term deterioration, minimizes future restoration costs, and enhances user satisfaction by ensuring smoother, safer travel conditions.
The financial bid was opened on 16th September 2025, with RMPL Construction Company quoting the lowest value for the contract. The total estimated value of the project is Rs. 26,40,74,491.9, making it a key maintenance initiative for Gujarat’s national highway network.
