The Public Works Region – Nashik, through the Public Works Circle, Nashik and the Public Works Division, Malegaon, invited a tender for the improvement of Ahwa–Taharabad–Nampur–Lakhmapur–Manmad Road (SH-20). The project covers the stretch from Km 54/00 to Km 62/400, located in Taluka Satana, District Nashik.
This section of SH-20 plays an important role in regional connectivity, linking multiple towns and supporting both passenger and goods movement. The improvement of this stretch will help strengthen the economic linkages between Satana and adjoining towns, benefiting trade, agriculture, and local industries.
The scope of work involves road strengthening, widening, resurfacing, and safety enhancements, ensuring the highway meets modern standards. Additionally, provisions for drainage and durability improvements have been included to ensure long-term sustainability of the upgraded corridor.
The tender financial bid was opened on 29th August 2025, attracting several competitive bidders. After evaluation, Ravindra Pandurang Ahire emerged as the lowest bidder, securing the contract with the most economical value quotation.
The project carries a total value of ₹19,30,31,172.8, reflecting a substantial investment by the state government in the Nashik region’s road development.
