Ravindra Pandurang Ahire Got A Project: Improvement to Ahwa Taharabad Nampur Lakhmapur Manmad Road SH-20 from K.M. 54/00 to 62/400

Public Works Region – Nashik, under the Public Works Circle and Public Works Division Malegaon, invited a tender for the improvement of the Ahwa–Taharabad–Nampur–Lakhmapur–Manmad Road (SH-20). The project focuses on the stretch from Km 54/00 to 62/400 located in Taluka Satana, District Nashik, an important regional route that supports inter-town connectivity and agricultural transport in the northern belt of Maharashtra.
The improvement work aims to upgrade the existing road surface, enhance riding quality, and strengthen the structural capacity of State Highway 20. This corridor is heavily used by local commuters, trade vehicles, and agricultural transporters. Upgrading this segment will ensure smoother traffic flow, reduced vehicle wear, and improved safety for daily road users while also supporting the region’s economic activities.
The financial bid for the tender was opened on 29th October 2025 by Public Works Region – Nashik authorities. Several competitive bidders took part in the process. Ravindra Pandurang Ahire emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder, offering the minimum value for executing the improvement works as per the department’s technical guidelines and required standards.
The project is valued at Rs. 193,031,172.8, indicating a significant investment toward improving State Highway infrastructure in Satana Taluka. Upon completion, the upgraded SH-20 stretch will contribute to better regional mobility, faster connectivity, and an overall enhancement in road safety and travel efficiency.
