PWD – Roads and Bridges, under the Jabalpur CE Central Zone, has invited a tender for the Upgradation of the Balpur–Dhanora Road. The project covers a total length of 17.50 km and also includes comprehensive electrification work, ensuring improved safety, visibility, and travel convenience for road users.
The work falls under Sub-Division Lakhnadon and is aimed at strengthening the existing road infrastructure, improving the riding quality, and enhancing connectivity between Balpur and Dhanora. The project is expected to support smoother transportation and contribute to local economic growth by improving regional access.
The financial bid for this tender was opened on 29th October 2025 by PWD – Roads and Bridges, Jabalpur CE Central Zone. Several contractors participated, and Ravi Shankar Jaiswal emerged as the lowest bidder for the project.
The estimated value of the project is Rs. 325,657,887.3, marking a significant investment toward infrastructure development in the Lakhnadon region. Once completed, the upgraded road with electrification will offer enhanced safety and improved connectivity for local commuters and transport services.
