The Public Works Department Madhya Pradesh under the Sagar CE Zone PWD invited a tender for the Orchha Mador Chakarpur Road Widening Project. The project involves the construction and widening of the Orchha–Mador–Chakarpur road in Niwari, covering a total length of 19.40 km, aimed at improving road capacity and connectivity in the region.
The scope of work includes widening of the existing roadway, strengthening of pavement, and development of associated infrastructure such as drainage systems, culverts, and road safety features. The project is designed to facilitate smoother traffic flow, reduce travel time, and enhance connectivity between key locations in Niwari district.
As per the tender details, the financial bid was opened on 11 March 2026 by the PWD authorities under the Sagar Zone. After evaluation of bids submitted by participating contractors, Ramraja Construction Co emerged as the bidder quoting the minimum value for execution of the project.
The total project value stands at Rs. 284,844,203.6, reflecting a significant investment in road infrastructure. Upon completion, the widened road will improve transportation efficiency, boost regional connectivity, and contribute to economic development in Niwari district.
