The Public Works Department (PWD – CE and AS), in coordination with ACE Ajmer, SE Kekri, and EE Kekri, invited a tender for the Strengthening and Widening work on SH-12 (Dhuwaliya) covering the Ekalsingha–Mevdakalan–Roopniwas–Salari–Taswariya–Molkiya–KKG Para–Farkiya–Bharai–Pranhera–Sampla road stretch. The project includes key segments of MDR-156 from Km 3/150 to 6/650, Km 29/250 to 33/950, and Km 47/600 to 53/000, undertaken under the CRIF Scheme (MDR-401). The primary objective is to enhance road strength, structural stability, and transport efficiency across these rural belts.
The work proposes widening existing narrow stretches, strengthening weak pavement layers, improving curves, constructing proper shoulders, and ensuring better drainage flow. These improvements are expected to significantly benefit commuters, local trade, agricultural transport, and inter-village connectivity across the Kekri region.
The financial bid for this project opened on 11th September 2025, conducted by PWD – CE AND AS with oversight from ACE Ajmer, SE Kekri, and EE Kekri. After evaluation, Ram Swaroop Jat emerged as the lowest bidder, securing eligibility to execute the project.
The total value of the project stands at Rs. 18,52,25,636.2, marking an important step toward enhancing road quality and supporting regional development under the CRIF initiative.
