The Rural Development Department (RDD) – CEO Amravati, through the Amravati Works Division, has invited a tender for the construction of a cement concrete (CC) road in the rehabilitation area of Tq Warud, District Amravati. The project is aimed at providing a durable and weather-resistant road surface to improve transportation and accessibility in the designated rehabilitation zone.
The development of a CC road will ensure long-term serviceability with minimal maintenance, offering enhanced load-bearing capacity and resilience against wear and tear. This infrastructure upgrade is expected to improve local mobility, facilitate the transport of goods and services, and enhance the quality of life for residents in the area.
The tender process, conducted by RDD – CEO Amravati under the Amravati Works Division, saw the financial bid opening on 7th July 2025. The competitive bidding attracted qualified contractors with expertise in road construction using high-quality cement concrete techniques.
Following bid evaluation, R P Mundhada emerged as the lowest bidder, securing the opportunity to execute the project. The selection reflects the contractor’s capability and prior experience in delivering large-scale public works projects.
The total estimated value of the project is ₹21,91,42,716.1, making it a substantial investment in strengthening rural infrastructure in the Warud region.
