The State Highway Authority of Jharkhand invited a tender for the widening, strengthening and reconstruction of Rani Road, extending from ROB Barmasiya to Kusumatand (Mukunda) More via Jhariya Vihar Colony and Belgariya Road in Dhanbad district. The proposed road infrastructure project will be executed on a deposit basis, aiming to improve connectivity and strengthen the existing transportation network.
The project covers a total road length of 7.612 kilometres. The proposed development work includes widening the existing carriageway, strengthening the road surface and reconstructing damaged sections. These improvements are expected to enhance road quality, provide smoother vehicle movement and improve accessibility for commuters travelling through the Dhanbad district.
The financial bid for this project was opened on 25th September 2026 by the State Highway Authority of Jharkhand. Following the financial bidding process, PREETI CONSTRUCTION & DEVELOPERS PVT LTD emerged as the lowest bidder, quoting the minimum value for executing the proposed road development work.
The minimum quoted project value stands at Rs. 243,337,000, which is approximately Rs. 24.33 crore. This infrastructure initiative is expected to contribute to the improvement of road connectivity in Dhanbad. Upon completion, the widened and strengthened road will facilitate smoother traffic movement, improve transportation efficiency and provide better accessibility to surrounding residential and commercial areas.
