PWD – CE and AS, along with ACE Jaipur II, SE Rural Jaipur, and EE Shahpura, has invited a tender for the Strengthening and Widening of the road from Sinwar Phatak to Navrangpura Mod (SH-2). This important corridor passes through Dhankya, Begus, Bobas, Asalpur, Dhani Boraj, Sursinghpura, Jaitpura, and Navarangpura, covering km 0/00 to km 30/00 of MDR-397, under the CRIF scheme. The project aims to enhance the mobility and road safety of a key rural–urban link connecting several habitations to major state routes.
The proposed work includes widening narrow stretches, strengthening existing pavement layers, and improving the riding surface to ensure smoother traffic flow. Additional improvements such as drainage upgrades, shoulder development, and strengthening of weak spots are planned to handle heavy rural traffic and seasonal load variations. This upgrade is expected to significantly improve local transport efficiency and reduce travel time for daily commuters.
The financial bid is scheduled to open on 23rd September 2025 under the supervision of PWD – CE and AS, ACE Jaipur II, SE Rural Jaipur, and EE Shahpura. Several contractors submitted bids for this crucial MDR-397 development project, reflecting the importance of the corridor within the district’s road network.
Among the bidders, Parul Construction Company quoted the lowest bid, emerging as the minimum value bidder for the tender. The total project cost is ₹40,19,69,023, marking a major investment in rural connectivity, regional mobility enhancement, and long-term road strengthening under the CRIF initiative.
