The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA), through its Director – Engineering – I, along with the Superintending Engineer – Project 02 and Executive Engineer – Project 03, has invited a key infrastructure tender for a major urban connectivity upgrade. The proposed project involves the construction of a Road Over Bridge (ROB) at LC-214 (CBI Induni Phatak), a crucial railway crossing point in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
This ROB aims to eliminate a major traffic bottleneck at the CBI Induni Phatak by replacing the level crossing with a grade-separated structure. Once completed, the bridge will significantly improve traffic movement, enhance commuter safety, and reduce delays caused by frequent rail crossings in this busy part of the city.
The financial bid opening for this ambitious project was held on 9th June 2025 at the JDA office. The project received bids from various well-known infrastructure companies, showing high interest in this major urban development initiative.
Padmawati Enterprises emerged as the lowest bidder, quoting the most competitive price for executing this project. The total estimated value of the project is ₹95,77,14,745.40, making it one of the most significant infrastructure investments currently underway in Jaipur.
Upon completion, this ROB is expected to transform intra-city travel and offer long-term benefits to both commuters and transport logistics within the Pink City.
