Om Prakash Jain & Company Got A Project: [PROVIDING AND LAYING OF WMM 7.5 CM, DBM 7.5 CM AND BC 4.00 CM INCLUDING CLEANING OF ROAD SURFACE

The Directorate General Border Roads Organisation (BRO), through HQ CE (P) Chetak, Bikaner, has invited a tender for important surfacing works on the Ramdevra–Nachna road. This project, executed under 95 RCC/45 BRTF, aims to strengthen a crucial stretch between Km 10 and Km 20, ensuring smoother movement for military logistics, local commuters and regional transport connectivity. The work focuses on enhancing pavement quality and improving overall road safety features.
The scope of work includes providing and laying 7.5 cm Wet Mix Macadam (WMM), 7.5 cm Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM) and 4.00 cm Bituminous Concrete (BC). These layers will significantly boost the structural strength, durability and riding comfort of the road surface. Additional activities include thorough cleaning of the existing road surface, applying prime and tack coats to ensure proper bonding between layers, and laying 2.5 mm thick road markings to enhance night-time visibility and traffic discipline.
The project is designed to meet BRO’s high technical standards, ensuring long-term pavement performance in harsh climatic conditions. By rehabilitating this 10 km stretch, the project is expected to reduce maintenance needs, improve safety, and support continuous movement along an important route connecting key locations in the region.
The tender evaluation process identified Om Prakash Jain and Company as the bidder quoting the minimum value. The total project cost is ₹97,45,29,948.4.
