PWD – Roads and Bridges, under the Ujjain CE Ujjain Zone, invited a tender for the Construction of the Ujjain Tiraha to Nagukhedi Road. The project covers a total length of 3.70 km and includes electrification work, ensuring improved safety, visibility, and modern road infrastructure. This development aims to strengthen connectivity within the Division Neemuch region.
The proposed road will enhance intra-district movement, providing smoother and faster access between Ujjain Tiraha and Nagukhedi. The inclusion of electrification work highlights the department’s focus on safer night-time travel and long-term infrastructure reliability. The project is designed to support urban and semi-urban transportation needs effectively.
The tender’s financial bid was opened on 14th October 2025 by PWD – Roads and Bridges, Ujjain CE Ujjain Zone. Several bidders participated, and Manish Agrawal emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder for executing the construction and electrification components of the project.
The project is valued at Rs. 402,910,626.4, reflecting a significant investment in regional road development. Once completed, the Ujjain Tiraha–Nagukhedi Road will facilitate better mobility, reduce travel time, and support the economic and social activities in Neemuch and surrounding areas.
