The Haryana Government through the Engineer-in-Chief PW(B and R) Department has floated a significant tender to enhance road infrastructure in Karnal district. The project involves the strengthening of the Karnal Ramba Indri Ladwa road (Road ID 7169) (SH-07), covering the stretch from Km 0.00 to Km 20.500 in Indri Constituency. This crucial upgrade aims to improve road safety, reduce travel time, and support regional economic growth by offering better connectivity.
Under the supervision of SE Karnal and EE PD-1 Karnal, the project includes laying 60mm Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM), 40mm Bituminous Concrete (BC), and 80mm interlocking paver blocks. These measures are expected to enhance the durability and load-bearing capacity of the road, ensuring smooth vehicular movement for years to come.
The financial bid for this tender was opened on 14th August 2025. Among the competing bidders, the minimum value was quoted by Mahender Singh Contractor. The total estimated value of this project stands at ₹27,94,14,303.4, marking it as one of the notable infrastructure development initiatives in the region.
