M/s Shri Krishan Construction Co. Got A Project: WIDENING AND STRENGTHENING OF MDR PRAGPURA TO KIRAROD

The Public Works Department (PWD) – Chief Engineer & Additional Secretary (CE & AS), in coordination with ACE–Ajmer, SE–Bhilwara, and EE–Shahpura, has invited a tender for the widening and strengthening of multiple MDR road stretches connecting Pragpura to Kirarod, Malera Johad, Samota Ki Dhani, NH-48 up to Bhabaru, and from NH-48 Reliance Petrol Pump to Tulsipura via Taliyara. This comprehensive road development package is intended to improve regional connectivity across Shahpura and surrounding areas.
The proposed works cover several important links that serve rural settlements, commercial zones, and highway interfaces. Upgrading these roads will enhance carriageway width, pavement strength, and overall riding quality. The project is expected to facilitate smoother traffic movement, safer travel conditions, and improved access to NH-48, thereby supporting trade, agriculture, and daily commuting needs.
The financial bid for the tender was opened on 6th October 2025 by PWD – CE & AS under the administrative supervision of ACE–Ajmer, SE–Bhilwara, and EE–Shahpura. After evaluation of bids, M/s Shri Krishan Construction Co. emerged as the lowest bidder, quoting the minimum value for execution of the work. The bidding process was conducted in accordance with established departmental norms.
The total project cost is Rs. 158,396,319.6, representing a significant investment in strengthening the road infrastructure of the region. On completion, the upgraded MDR network is expected to improve connectivity, reduce travel time, and support sustainable economic development.
