The Public Works Department (PWD), under the Chief Engineer and Additional Secretary (CE & AS), through the Additional Chief Engineer (ACE), Kota, along with the Superintending Engineer, Kota, and the Executive Engineer, Sangod, has invited a tender for the construction of a High-Level Bridge on the Kalisindh River. The bridge is proposed at Km 14/300 of MDR-178, on the Kurar–Dhoti–Kandaphal–Khedli Amli–Mandap–Sangod Road in the State of Rajasthan.
This project is of strategic importance as MDR-178 serves as a key regional corridor facilitating movement between rural settlements and market centers in the Kota region. The construction of a high-level bridge will ensure all-weather connectivity, prevent traffic disruption during monsoon seasons, and significantly enhance safety and travel reliability for commuters and freight traffic.
The financial bid for the tender opened on 17th October 2025, under the authority of the PWD Kota Zone. The project attracted participation from experienced bridge construction firms due to its technical complexity and regional importance. After detailed evaluation of financial bids, M/s Seema Enterprises emerged as the lowest bidder.
The total project value is estimated at Rs. 588,401,510, representing a major investment in Rajasthan’s bridge infrastructure. Upon completion, the bridge will improve regional connectivity, support economic activities, and strengthen the road network across the Sangod area.
