PWD – CE and AS, in coordination with ACE Bharatpur, SE Karauli, and EE Sapotra, has invited a tender for the Strengthening and Widening of the Tajpur–Bhartoon–Masawata–Raneta–Narauli–Dang–Khedla–Malarna Station Road in Karauli district. This road corridor is an important inter-village route that supports local mobility, agricultural movement, and access to essential services. Upgrading this link aims to enhance regional connectivity and provide safer and more efficient transport for daily commuters.
The project focuses on improving pavement quality, widening the existing carriageway, and strengthening road layers to handle increasing traffic volumes. The scope also includes improving curves, drainage structures, and roadside safety features to ensure a durable and long-lasting roadway. Once completed, the enhanced route is expected to reduce travel time between the connected villages and improve economic interaction across the region.
The financial bid is scheduled to open on 25th September 2025, under the supervision of the respective PWD authorities. Multiple contractors participated, aiming to secure this high-value infrastructure project in Karauli district. The evaluation will consider technical compliance as well as cost-effectiveness for efficient project delivery.
Among all bidders, M/s Sardar Singh Contractor emerged as the lowest quoted bidder, making them the minimum value participant in the tender process. The total value of the proposed project stands at ₹48,75,22,706.8, reflecting a significant investment in rural infrastructure development and long-term road improvement.
