M/s Sanwar Mal Khetawat Got A Project:PBMC in NH-15

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), through its NER and SARDP-NE division, in coordination with RO Guwahati and the National Highway ASSAM PWD-Guwahati, invited a tender for Performance-Based Maintenance Contracts (PBMC) for National Highway 15. The work is sanctioned for the year 2024–25 under the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) mode.
This PBMC covers a total stretch of 46.00 kilometers on NH-15, falling under the jurisdiction of the Nagaon NH Division in the State of Assam. The contract focuses on ensuring efficient and long-term maintenance of the highway infrastructure, improving safety, and enhancing road quality across this strategic route.
The financial bid for the tender was opened on April 17, 2025. Officials from the Ministry’s NER and SARDP-NE units, along with RO Guwahati and Assam PWD, conducted the opening to ensure a transparent evaluation process. The competitive bidding attracted participation from several contractors across the region.
M/s Sanwar Mal Khetawat submitted the lowest financial bid, positioning the firm as the front-runner for the contract. The total estimated value of the project stands at ₹44,81,57,989, marking a major investment in Assam’s highway maintenance under the MoRTH’s PBMC framework.
